Hello from the two of us and welcome to our wedding celebration.    We have one goal for this special evening and that's to have fun!   

If you have any special music requests, please include them with your RSVP or email us.  The DJ will need them three weeks prior to the wedding.  If you plan on attending with children, please let us know ASAP.  We will be providing an on-site sitter for the evening and need all names and ages.    Please call the Shumway as soon as possible if you plan on staying the evening of the wedding.  Space is extremely limited (six rooms).

Out-of-Town Guests

For out-of-town folks, we hope your stay with us is both a fun and refreshing break away from home.  March in the Northwest may not be real sunny, but it is a whole lot warmer than New England.     

While you're here, we hope you'll take some time out to enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  For you computer savvy folks, you'll definitely want to check out http://seattle.sidewalk.com for cool places to eat and visit.    Don't forget about Pike's Market, Snoqualmie Falls, Pioneer Square, the Redhook Brewery, Chateau Ste. Michelle, the Space Needle, Ballard Locks, or any of the gazillion wonderful restaurants.

Going North on 405:

• Take NE 116^th Street exit (#20A)
• Go west under freeway
• One block before stop light at bottom of hill, turn left on 99^th Place NE
• Go one and ½ blocks and Shumway Mansion will be on your left

Going South on 405:

• Take NE 124^th Street exit (#20)
• Go right onto NE 124^th Street, go about one and ½ mile to stop light at 100^th Avenue NE;
• Turn left on to 100^th Avenue NE, go south to next light at 116^th Street
• Turn left up hill on 116^th Street, go one short block and make a right turn on to 99^th Place NE
• Go one and ½ blocks and Shumway Mansion will be on your left
