Riley Dawg
Sung to the tune of The Grinch
|
You’re a grey
one, Riley Dawg You’re just a big woofing, softy Whose heart is made of gold.
You’re a traveler, Riley Dawg You’ve got adventure in your soul. You can dig with a passion You just gotta rock and roll, Riley Dawg.
Given the chance staying or escaping, You’ll always dig the hole!
You’re a stow-away, Riley Dawg Hiding in the back of trucks. When the mailman isn’t looking Behind boxes you do tuck, Riley Dawg.
How you get away with it we’ll never know, But it must have to do with some incredible, wonderful, luck!
|
You’ve got big ears, Riley Dawg They’re like radar on your head. You can hear my call for miles; ‘Doggie Dinner’ and you’re fed, Riley Dawg.
You could choose be a good dog, but you prefer to be a bad dog, instead .
You’re a sleeper, Riley Dawg Always snoozing on the bed. You know that you’re not welcome Should be on your mat instead, Riley Dog.
Your morals are an appalling dump heap Overflowing with the most deplorable thoughts in your head.
You’re a shrewd one, Riley Dawg. That surely is a fact. You’re a genious of a canine Simply smarter than a cat, Riley Dog.
I wouldn’t take you on if my brain was twice as .. three times… four times… as fat.

Who refused to celebrate mildly

Then he started to heave
On the porcelain god quite wildly.

New Years 2003/4 Limerick #3 Of course there's Little Jade
Who was very well behaved.
She was such a good girl
She made Riley want to hurl.
Guests loved her, so she had it made. |
