A Twisted Christmas 2002
by
Lynn, Nigel, Riley, Dallas, and Jade

To the beat of Green Eggs and Ham, by Dr. Seuss

I do not like these Christmas lights
I do not like them day or night
I do not like them blinking blue
I do not like them any hue
I do not like them wrapped around my bod
I'm lit up like a lightening rod
Please unplug the electricity
Remove these lights and set me free

To the tune of Winter Wonderland

I'm Riley Dawg...
are you whistling?
I do my thing.
 I am not listening.
I'm full of attitude
One very cool dude
Running in the swampy wonderland.

Gone away is the coyote
He's so very afraid of me.
His tail between his legs
For his life he begs
Running in the swampy wonderland

In the front yard we will bite the snowmen
And pretend that they're a vicious crew.
They'll say "You're a bad dog!"
I'll say "No Men!"
And then I'll bite their
fluffy heads in two.

Later on ,
I'll get real baked
When I eat, up all the rum cake.
My tummy will ache,
But it's worth the "mistake"
Running in a swampy wonderland

In the woods ,oh I will chase a kitty
And pretend that he's a rabid hound
I'll have lots of fun with Mr. Kitty
Until he's vanished and is not around.

When it snows
ain't it thrillin'
though my willie gets a chillin'.
I'll frolic and play
The Riley Dawg way
Running in a swampy wonderland.

To the tune of Deck the Halls

Deck the halls with cheese and biscuits
Fa la la la la la la la la
Beg a lot and get some more bits
Fa la la la la la la la la
Let us eat our gay apparel,
Fa la la la la la la la la
Pounce the cats and get real feral,
Fa la la la la la la la la.

Snarf the turkey; you'll get gasses.
Fa la la la la la la la la
Eat the bones and pray they passes.
Fa la la la la la la la la
Howl like coyotes all together.
Fa la la la la la la la la
Practice lots and we'll get better.
Fa la la la la la la la la.

To the Tune of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

Please go away dear gentleman
Please stop it all right now.
Remember good old Hallmark
When we could not be found?
They did the cards, there was no torture
We did not stick around.

Oh those days are all behind us now, behind us now.

Oh those days are all behind us now.

To the tune of Do You Hear What I Hear?

Said the camera man to the Dallas Dawg
You must do what I say.  You must do what I say.
Up upon that box little man
You must do what I say.  You must do what I say.
A dog, a dog, starry-eyed and bright
With his hat he will be such a sight.   With his hat he will be such a sight.

Said the Dallas Dawg to the camera man.
I'm not sure I like you.  I'm not sure I like you.
Flashing all those lights camera man.
I'm not sure I like you. I'm not sure I like you.
This job, this job, preposterous and trite
There are  better things to do at night.  There are better things to do at night.
