Puget Hounds is a flyball racing team based in the greater Seattle, Washington  area. Our northern contingent practices Monday evenings  in Redmond.  Our southern squad practices on Mondays in the Olympia region.  Prior to tournaments, we have full club practices in Redmond.

Want to join?

If you and your dog are considering doing flyball with your dog,  feel free to watch us at any Monday night practice.  We have only a few requirements:

• Your dog must be physically sound and able to safely jump their shoulder height MINUS 4".   The minimum jump height is 8"; the max 16".
• Your dog must be friendly to humans, other dogs, and horses (due to our unique practice environment)
• You must be friendly to other humans, dogs, and horses :^)
• You must be willing to help set up / tear down equipment (this helps us keep our costs down as the instructors do not get paid)
• You're okay with traveling to Canada (Vancouver area) 4-5 weekends/year if you make the race team.  Daily cost boils out to be about $110/day for hotel, food, and racing fees. (Much less if you camp).
• It really helps if your dog likes to retrieve balls or toys!
