Louis was adopted from the King County Crossroads shelter on Friday Jan 16 2004.
He was then about 5 months old. He had been found living in the woods near Woodinville just before Thanksgiving.
He had a license but no people at the house.
He was very thin when found and recovered at the shelter for 2-3 months.

Louis appears to be part "field lab" and perhaps part "short hair pointer"
He retrieves, points and finds by smell or sight.
He also alerts us when people come near the door.
On Walks he is friendly with people, dogs and cats, but will chase squirrels.

He has been attracted to tennis balls since a very young age.
He especially likes catching them from the air.
He really enjoys walks and exploring.
He knows many tricks.
The first 2 months at our house he almost never barked, which might be hard to believe compared to his enthusiasm at flyball.
Louis finds playing (or watching) flyball to be very exciting.
