Dallas

Dallas was rescued by Lynn Paquette in 1997.   Border Collie Rescue of WA and OR saved his life by popping him from the pound 10 days after his owners said they were going to claim him.  Back then, Dallas was in bad shape. He may have been hit by a car and had severe head and thigh lacerations.  

Luckily , he had a complete recovery.  After two years of watching his "sister" Jade, compete, the time came for Dallas to do flyball.  

Dallas began competing in 1999.  Back then, Puget Hounds didn't keep stats, so we don't know how fast Dallas may have been at his peak.  However, in  2002, at approximately 8 years old, his best time in competition was 4.73 seconds.  Not bad for a an old dogger!!!

When Dallas isn't doing flyball, his favorite pastime is to follow Jade around.
