Water (for you and your dog – it’s a bit chlorinated in BC. You should
bring at least 2 gallons.

- Your dog must not be allowed to roam loose during the
tournament. Since there are two teams, we need to help each other which
means there will be times during the day when the dogs will need to be
kenneled while you are helping out.

Here is one set of directions
from Maps.google.com. It may not be the best way, so PLEASE CONSULT with a
map. You can either take the exit for 539 (Bellisfair Mall exit) or the
exit for 542. Bottom line is you need to get on Rt. 9
and cross the Canadian Border at Sumas.
- Take the I-5 N ramp - go 89 mi
- Take the WA-542 E exit 255 to Mt Baker - go 0.2 mi
- Turn right at E Sunset Dr - go 0.9 mi
- Continue on WA-542 - go 9.0 mi
- Turn left at Lawrence Rd - go 3.3 mi
- Turn left at WA-9 - go 0.5 mi
- Turn right at Nooksack Rd - go 2.5 mi
- Turn left at WA-9 - go 0.1 mi
- Turn right at Nooksack Ave - go 1.5 mi
- Bear left at Nooksack Rd - go 1.7 mi
- Turn right at WA-9 - go 3.0 mi
- Bear right at Halverstick Rd - go 0.5 mi
- Continue on W Front St - go 0.4 mi
- Turn left at Cherry St - go 0.7 mi
- Bear right at Sumas Way - go 4.4 mi
- Bear right and head toward HWY-11 - go 220 ft
- Bear right at HWY-11 and stay on it.
- Exit McCallum Road heading West.
- This becomes MacLure Road
- Turn right (north) onto Trethewey Street.
- Follow Trethewey Street until what I think is Gate 2. You will see a
hockey ring, an indoor arena, and probably quite a few RV's parked in the
parking lot. Also look for people walking dogs.
Hotel
- we usually stay at the Comfort Inn in
Abbotsford (formerly the Holiday Inn Express).
Once you hit Highway 1, you’ll travel two exits WEST. I can’t quite
remember. The hotel is in a part of
Abbotsford called Clearbrook.
